Associate, Partnership Development and Research
Marat manages the implementation of BSR’s HERproject in Bangladesh. He works with companies, factories, and local community organizations to improve female factory workers’ health knowledge and outcomes and leads stakeholder engagement to maximize project impact in the country.
Prior to joining BSR, Marat worked with the Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response to develop research and capacity-building programs on community resilience in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, he was a humanitarian worker with the Hong Kong Red Cross and worked at a grassroots NGO in India, training peer health educators in slums. He also served as a program specialist at the Mekong Institute.
Marat studied as a Chevening Scholar and holds an M.Sc. in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. He has a B.A. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is currently pursuing a LL.M. in Human Rights from University of Hong Kong.
